MacDon D1 corn harvesters™

Harvesters manufactured by MacDon Canadian company differ from conventional grain harvesters by using a belt conveyor instead of an auger.
This technical solution reduced significantly weight of the harvesters and at the same time increased their width. In addition, MacDon harvester uses an OrbitReel reel which differs from the conventional item with specific trajectory of the fingers. These features together can increase significantly capacity and reduce losses.
Thanks to MacDon Flex-FloatTechnology the FD1 series is continuation of the company’s revolutionary innovations. Advantage of this technology is the constant maintenance of the same gap between the reels and the cutting device due to this a small gap is maintained between the tips of the reel “fingers” and the knife bar.
The active floating system continuously responds to all changes on the soil surface in the horizontal and vertical planes. Result of application of this technology is a smooth, even and constant supply of crop ears forward to the chamber of the combine which increases significantly its capacity.
Thanks to only 2 levers FD1 FlexDraper harvester easily and quickly switches from flexible to hard mode, offering you maximum flexibility when switching from one type of crop to another.
